I’ll try to be at the meeting. But in general I support this consensus item. Although I would prefer to change the language:

  1. Prioritizing projects to safely open the space for more participants - especially ventilation and making good use of outdoor space. Also will need some specific signage and paperwork related to coronavirus precautions, as well as any permits required for construction - and deploying basic safety measures such as fire extinguishers and exit lighting.

Simply because fire extinguishers / exit lighting (while important) don’t really seem like COVID precautions.

But that’s just being pedantic. This is a well drafted item aimed at maintaining a safe environment, and I appreciate the auto-magic expiration period.

I’m volunteering to moderate this weeks meeting. I am obligating myself not to moderate successive meetings, so early call for volunteesr for next week. Happy to have new participants as moderator, co-moderator as well. We also need to continue with excellence in notes, @reilytech @culteejen @tymeart thank you for helping raise the bar here as well.

Pic or it didn’t happen, I’ve cut my near daily Capp St. activity to essential minimal, and did a weekly fly by today to ensure things were on a suitable idle. Fridge emptied of perishables and turned off. I’m keeping a written log of activity next to the Laser Cutter, would appreciate anyone else entering the space do the same.

You’ll see the “hackitorium” in the meeting tonight, you’ll note it’s basically blacked out, also unplugged vending machine which is in the center of the black void.

If you are missing the lack of outdoor bridging, we’ve got a jitsi for you, jitsi.noisebridge.io/capp this monitors the gate in the driveway. This is publicly shared to the internet and maybe recorded at any/all times.

In ongoing transparency and in reflection of discussion a couple of meetings ago, this is the current remote observation post from inside noisebridge.

thanks - I think the revision to focus on coronavirus precautions does make good sense.

appreciating the delicacy of a well-crafted Consensus - sometimes less is more!

while this one may be close enough for government work in its current form … I’ll still be glad to incorporate more suggestions based on discussion tonight if there’s any appetite for more (or less )
